Survivorship
At Community Cancer Care, we understand that cancer care is more than just your radiation therapy treatments, but also the support you may continue to need after your last treatment is completed. We partner with the John A. DeQuattro Cancer Center to provide our patients, at no cost, support services including:
- Lunch and learns in a relaxed and casual environment to provide education on various topics related to cancer survivorship like sleep, nutrition, sexuality, exercise, and resources for emotional and social support.
- Support groups for both you and your loved ones.
- Survivorship care plans, at your request, to include information about your diagnosis, treatment plan information, follow-up care, recommendations for continued surveillance/follow-up tests, symptoms to be on the lookout for post-radiation treatment and support resources, all of which can be shared with important members of your care team.
